WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE OF THE CARIBBEAN CHESS CARNIVAL

The Board of Directors of the Trinidad and Tobago Chess Foundation extends an invitation to all Chess players and Federations to participate in the 7th edition of our international tournament.

The website is for promoting the Caribbean Chess Carnival. An objective of the website is to make available, for viewing online as well as for download, chess games played during the festival. The site also publishes a selection of the games played in previous festivals. For this, the games are uploaded to the site in PGN format. The PGN viewer integrated with the web site will facilitate the online viewing. The user can also view reports of the games, download bulletins, view pairings and results for each round.The user can view information regarding registration, prizes, tournament details,regulations, accommodation, organizers, contact info etc. Users can also view the details of past tournaments.The website also provides news, stories and interviews related to the Chess Carnival. There will be a photo gallery attached to the website.

The Caribbean Chess Carnival 2009, a nine-round Swiss event, will be held in Port of Spain, Trinidad during the period Tuesday 4th August (first game) to Sunday 9th August (final game).


Cuban Master Retains Title As Chess Carnival Comes to a Close
